The movie, book, and interview are similar by the facts that some quotes are still the same and the characters are mostly the same and how I pictured them. All three types also show how Morrie talks about his death and his life in the same way. In the book we get to see how Morrie is a sweet old man who is slowly dying but telling the world about his life. He isn't the type of person who is going to dwell on life and have people. Some of the quotes I recognized from the book but some of them were a little out of place. The movie helped in a way as to know what Mitch looked like and what his life style was like. I also recognized scenes from the interview that were in the movie. Then again the movie took away from what I read because I pictured Morrie to look a little more like Mr. B and a little more fragile than he looks like in the movie.

  1. He does look like Mr. B. But Mr. B is older (oh, snap) just kidding. That is the danger of watching a movie version, it is someone else's vision that often differs from the one you have already established in your mind. Good points here though.
